I am Cecile (on the right), I am originally from France and have been an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for over 15 years, teaching both children and adults. I am currently working as a session facilitator for Playcentre both for their centre based and outdoor sessions. I am also a course facilitator for their education programme. I have two sons Noah (7) and Louis (6).

 

Ko Amanda Jacobsen toku ingoa (on the left). I am Amanda Jacobsen. I am a trained Primary teacher who has been working in education since 2009 and currently teach one day a week in a local primary school. I have two sons, Oscar (7) and Jasper (5) who I was lucky to attend Playcentre alongside during their early years. 

Over this time I learnt a lot about child-led and nature play and the value it holds in empowering our tamariki as learners.
